We all tend to hammer down on our exercise regimes and diet before the summer kicks in

but what happens during and afterwards?? We go away, drink, eat and lounge around.

All that hard work is stopped and replaced with nothing…...........................


Well this article is a chance for you to get back into shape.

I have left you with 5 tips to getting back into tip top shape ready for Christmas!!

Whether you want to lose weight or gain a better fitness level follow these tips:

  • Weighted and cardio training are important so make sure you do a mixture of both. Exercise at least 5times a week for 30 – 40 minutes.
  • If you want to lose body fat then reduce your carbohydrates (bread, rice, pasta etc) to no more than a handful in the evening.
  • Eat regularly through the day so you are not having big portions when eating. Little and often is the key.
  • On toning exercises, use a challenging weight and aim for 15-20 reps 2-3 times to start with. If you want to gain muscle than you need to follow a specific program for that.
  • Try an exercise class for more variety. There are so many to choose from:
    • Boxercise – toning and cardio
    • Aerobics – Cardio
    • Yoga – Toning and stretching
    • Body Conditioning – Toning
