Functional training has become the new, proven way of training to get the best out of your sessions. Functional training consists of utilising the bodies correct form and function to perform exercises. This encourages development of the deep core muscles that help maintain good posture, aid effecient calorie burn, and provide the basis for developing good shape and tone. From new gym user to athlete, functional training has found its place in training regimes at all levels, and is set to become the foundations upon which all exercise programmes are built.
