Weight loss and nutrition explained without the media twist!!!

I'm sure you've come across many methods, videos, blogs, hints and tips that explain how to lose weight and how to drop percentages of body fat. You may have been told by your local trainer down at the gym that you need to simply burn more calories than you take in. I can guess that you have also been told that low fat foods and diet soft drinks are aids in fighting the battle of the bulge.
I'm telling you know that just about all of it is a load of CRUD!!!
My analogy is quite simple and should clear a few things up.
Now i'm sure you are aware that the 3 main sources of energy that the body uses are Carbohydrates, Proteins and Fats and what each are supposed to do for our bodies in terms of helping us to live.
But if we have a problem with losing weight then one of these has to go and it's not the one that we all get told by the guys in fancy suits and lab coats.
Imagine the fire triangle that we're taught as children in the case of fire and how to extinguish it. To exist a fire needs Heat, Oxygen and Fuel so imagine that Carbohydrates are the fuel, Protein is oxygen and Fats represent heat.
The essentials we need to live are oxygen and heat and the fuel that we are told we need to live on is not needed.
The equation is simple take away the pointless carbohydrates and sugars and the body will burn the energy source which your aimimng to get rid of.
If there is no fuel then there is no fire so if there is no carbohydrates there is no excessive body fat percentage.
If you look at ALL the foods that we get with fast food outlets just about 99% of everything has high levels of carbohydrate or refined sugars and we need to buck this trend.
To break this down further, i'll explain the make up of fats in the body but keep it simple.
A fat molecule is made up of 3 fatty acid particles (fats) and glycerol (carbs & sugars) so if we keep adding the glycerol in our diets then it leads to increased fat storage or just a simple lack of fat burning.
To burn fat and to lose fat we need to starve the fatty acids of it's glycerol counterpart in storing fat and leave it open to attack in the aim of burning fat and transforming our bodies.
To summarise, if there is no fuel (carbs) then there is no fire (fat).
If we extinguish the fuel (glycerol) then the fire (excess fat) is easier to get rid of.
That is the Fortitude View.
